Guest Blogs are posted every Monday at the Raven Vampire Nightclub Blog on what is called “Manic Monday with Michelle and Mandy”. If you would like to have your article included, please follow the submission guidelines below. Mandy and Michelle reserve the right to decline any blog topic without explanation (but don’t let that scare you, we’re not meanies).
HOW TO GET A GUEST SPOT!
1. Subject MUST be on the PARANORMAL!
Topics can be anything paranormal or fantasy–from Real Life to myths, history or just your thoughts on a subject. Author byline with links will be included and we ask that you stop by to comment when your blog goes live. Also, feel free to advertise your blog with us. If you would like the above graphic to use, email us.
2. Articles can be anywhere from 200-1000 words.
3. No fan fiction or short stories. No poetry.
If you would like to post a paranormal short story or poem, please contact us for special arrangements. These will be very selective and not be done on guest blogger days.
4. First come, First serve
The order your blog will be posted is in the order we receive the completed, ready to go blog entry. The only exception is if the topic you are writing about was recently done, or if you have recently done a blog and there are others who haven’t waiting for a chance. We reserve the right to post them as we see fit. Email notifications will be send out when your blog posts, not before.
5. We DO NOT reserve dates
Please don’t ask. We’re too busy and we will forget.
6. Yes, you can do it more than once.
At this time there is no limit.

- Body of Email- Your blog article READY TO GO, including the byline at the end and the link titles and links you want added to the blog clearly marked.
- We DO NOT edit, so make sure it’s how you want it.
- ***NEW*** OPTIONAL CONTEST! - A great way to get readers reading your posts is to have a contest, drawing a winner from those who come and comment. If you’d like to host an exclusive contest with your guest blog, please put the contest information at the end of your post by your byline- prize, when you’ll be drawing a winner from the list of those who comment to your post. We recommend giving the contest at least a week.

What exactly is Raven Happy Hour with the M&M’s?
Raven Happy Hour with the M&M’s was best summed up by Jaycee Clark, a fellow NCP author, she called it “sort of role playing meets novella meets sitcom.”
We like to think of it as a Cheers, Sex in the City, and Saturday Night Live all mixed together. These are not done in Q & A format; rather they are presented in the form of chapter/short story write-ups.
What is the premise of the stories?
M&M, are basically alter-egos for Michelle Pillow and Mandy Roth. In real life we are both happily married, mothers, and authors. In the world of M&M, Michelle is a prude, and Mandy is the stereotypical party girl. We work for an underground e-zine called The Nocturnal Journal that discusses romance/erotic books. The ‘interviews’ take place at a vampire /shapeshifters bar called THE RAVEN.
Who writes the chapters?
We (Michelle M Pillow & Mandy M Roth) write the chapters. The guest authors submit their descriptions to us along with a detailed description of any character they may be bringing. This is an important point for authors who are interested in participating to keep in mind. For some, it’s easy to give their name and information over to others to write what works best, for others it’s not so easy.
The authors to date have been great sports!

What is it you do?
I am the Psychic Investigator / trance medium for the New England Ghost Project.
What is the The New England Ghost Project and how are you involved?
The N.E.G.P. is comprised of a group of individuals who volunteer their time to verify the existence of paranormal activity. Or, more importantly, assist those in need of a resolution to repetitive paranormal occurrences.
Group members:
Ron Kolek (Founder of the N.E.G.P.) – Handles the Electro Magnetic Field Monitor (EMF). A sudden change / appearance in the EMF where there once was none is generally a sign that paranormal activity is occurring.
Leo Monfet – Our ace photographer, captures paranormal activity on film.
Karen Mossey – EVP specialist, uses her digital recorder to capture voices of the dead. These voices are comprised of energy of the deceased manipulating the white noise of a recorder to leave messages from beyond. Karen’s recordings have been heard in the movie “White Noise” and most recently during last years, fall episode of “Ghost Whisperer.”
Ron Jr. – Runs the video and base camp. Base camp is where our investigation is monitored: temperature gages, infrared satellite recordings etc. that are reported to the group through a walkie talkie. Read the rest of this entry »
